Is it possible to have a report called “inventory value by location” which shows the value of each inventory item divided by location (same of inventory quantity by location but with the values)?
By the way is it possible to obtain something similar (not the matrix since it would require a pivot table) with custom reports?

I’m still working on finalizing custom reports. First I want to make custom reports feature complete. It’s possible this report could be made using custom reports.
I tried my best to build this report inventory value by inventory location through custom reports but failed as it only gives values by purchase price or average price. It would be great if just like inventory quantity per location is in report same is added for value per location.

You are right but still the report is not correct this way too.
If you are going to request help with a custom report, post the definition of your report and a screen shot of the result. Merely saying something is not correct is not helpful.

When i created a custom report for inventory value. It is taking all costs still when i have sold the quantity and also created the delivery note. the purchase cost of product is picked up instead that i dont have any stock quantity for that product.
Simply it should only give the purchase cost of goods that are left behind in stock actually.
just like the inventory quantity report that give exact quantity left in stock.
Manager uses the Average Cost method to value stocks, not FIFO
