Hi,
I have generated production order dated 29 Dec 2020. However, under the item list, the inventory, the inventory date become 8 feb 2021. Hence, my balance sheet state “production in progress” for the report as of 30 dec 2020.
It does not take place when the sales exist. or in other word the cost cannot be shifted to cost of goods sold.
Can anyone help on that.

Did you have the items on your Production Order in stock on 29 Dec 2020?
Yes, i have created production order on 29 dec 2020.
under production order, the date is ok. it state 29 dec 2020.
but when i check under inventory → Qty on Hand (the date state 8 Feb 2021).
When i click edit → it will go to the production order with date 29 Dec 2020.
i dont know where i’ve done wrong.
Furthermore, if i change the production order to 8 feb 2021 or above that. it wlll change accordingly. but when i change the date less than 8 feb, it will keep appear 8 feb 2021

That is because the production is produced on the first date that all the inventory items on it become available.
You can not produce the final product until all items required for the production are in stock
