Problem with installation

maybe there is a conflict between your installed .NET and webview2 because the error message is usually related to .NET
if you haven’t already, I think you should try updating .NET to version 6 and do a clean install of webview2 and Manager. make sure you follow the same steps here.

3.5 and 4.8 are standard packages included in Windows 10. these will be updated through Windows Update.
the latest versions of .NET need to be manually downloaded and installed.

i have installed 6.0.101 and again installed webview2 and manager but same result

the only thing left to suggest is try adding exception for Manager, Edge and webview2 in both Windows firewall and any other firewall provided by your antivirus.

@Joe91 and @sharpdrivetek you are giving the wrong information as lubos mentioned 2 days ago that .NET isn’t used anymore in the latest versions:

@Mark the statements “no longer requires” and “no longer requires to be installed” can be two different things.
Manager installation file still packs files related to .NET
so a little more clarity from @lubos would be needed.

I had the same problem. The problem is Microsoft Edge.
Go settings (windows 10) > Applications> find Microsoft Edge and Modified–Start download and install again Microsoft Edge. Do the same for WebView2.
