Now when I create invoice, the columns are fine, but once a pdf is created, the columns somehow become the same length, instead of auto adjusting as per the text.

Is there a way to make the pdf look the same as the invoice in terms of the column widths layout like in previous releases?

Previous releases did not do what you recall. Manager is not a what-you-see-is-what-you-get program. Screen and PDF renderings have always varied in several ways. Your HSN column, in particular, is a line-item custom field. Those are treated differently from other fields with respect to column width. They always have been.
