(i) Is there a way to customise Manager so that when a payslip is paid, it automatically shows a “Fully Paid” sign on the Payslip as is the case with Purchase Invoices?

That is an interesting thought, but I am not sure it is necessary. For payroll one is more interested in examining an employee to see that the Payslips were subsequently cleared or offset by a payment rather than going back to numerous Payslips.
This won’t be workable because many companies especially in my locality don’t write separate cheques for employees. A salary payment advice is sent to the bank with a list of the names of the beneficiaries or employees and the bank makes payment.
