Use Managers “Localisation” facility. As well as creating localisation reports it can include most things enter in Managers “Settings” including COA entries. To use it create a test business as a “Template”. Save it as a “Localisation”. In the business you want to add the COA localisation set the country to blank, import and apply your localisation.

No. Chart of accounts is a bit more complex mix of many account types.

If you want to start new business with established chart of accounts, you can always make copy of an existing business. Then batch delete all transactions so you can start fresh.

Thats what I am doing lubos but what Patch said about localisation intrigued me always looking at new ways of doing things

I believe the localisation system is being changed. With introduction of new capabilities and decommissioning of the old system.
I’m not sure what is currently supported, nor what capabilities are planned.
