There are many discussions of this topic on the forum with examples. Manager allows only one unit of measure for an inventory item.

Ya Tut you are correct , but when we create a product in the Kit we are able to create a product altogether different from the base product
Example:
X Product Rolls
X Product Yard

Inventory Kit : 97 X Product Yard = 1 X product Rolls

Or convert by simple manufacturing process

How to manage the difference of purchase item unit and sale item unit
