when I click on receive money (when someone has paid) it doesn’t record as payment on the sales invoice record - ie doesn’t say piad in full

I should mention that I am using the desktop version only

How do you record it? When you receive money from customer for sales invoice, sales invoice balance will be decreased but something will need to increase (e.g. bank account balance).

So when you receiving money on sales invoice, you need to specify an account. Maybe you are not specifying one?

Are you by chance using a custom view template? If so, the Paid in Full stamp will not appear unless you specifically coded it in.
