I started my accounts on Manager from March 2014 and now I am considering setting up a new company in manager and start uploading entries from as far back as 2006 uptill March 2014. Once the data is fully uploaded, I would like to be able to remove the opening balance figures from my initial company and add the old data saved in the new company.
This is not possible unless you use API which will require programming.
If I would add “draft” feature, then you could simply mark all historical transactions as drafts so they don’t affect your ledgers. Once all transactions are entered, you could remove the draft status from those historical transactions so they replace opening balances.
