macOS: 'quit' required after 'close'

App won’t open until previously closed instance is quit.

Manager Desktop can only run in a single process at a time, because each instance uses the same port.

If you need to work with more than one business simultaneously, please use the Windows → New Window option.

This will open an additional window within the same process, allowing you to access multiple businesses side by side without launching a second application instance.

This works well on Windows, and it may also work on other operating systems.

Perhaps you misunderstand.

On the Mac when you close most apps e.g. file→close, the app closes, but stays loaded as shown by the little dot net to the icon in the dock. Clicking on the app in the dock reopens a new instance it. Not Manager. Clicking does nothing. Have to right click and quit. Does that make sense?
