I have just noticed that when Inventory quantity goes negative a backorder column doesn’t appear?
This was a very handy feature, is there any possibility of restoring it?
This was done to reduce the overall number of columns. Backorders are simply shown as negative quantities. As additional capabilities are used in your overall inventory management scheme (such as adoption of goods receipts and delivery notes), you can end up with quite a few columns.
Understood anything to reduce clutter on screen is a plus.
For someone that doesn’t use Delivery notes or goods receipts, it would be nice to see a flag when viewing inventory items tab saying you have negative inventory with a clickable link showing a list of negative inventory items.
It seems some great features are supported one day then suddenly retracted the next.
Click on the column header twice and you will have a listing with backorders at the top, with the biggest backordered quantities first.
That’s what I did today to see if I had any other negative items.
Just be nice if Manager flagged it rather then me going to look for it.
