When I download Manager on my Windows 7 laptop, it simply doesn’t run. It appears to download successfully, but simply won’t open once on the desktop. My laptop uses Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit. Why is this?
Assuming you are
- Down loading from the official site Download | Manager
- Down loading the Windows 64 bit version and you have Windows 64 bit
Then I suggest reinstall Webview2, see New Update - #4 by Patch
i have Also Faced Similer Problem when i tried to install on window 7 in past.
But it is not the problem of manager.
@Funkmart You can just Try to update your window to the latest version of Window 7 And Then install Manager. it will work perfectly
Or upgrade to Windows 10
Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft - continuing to use it is a security issue and could lead to problems
Because it has better user terms and conditions which Microsoft really wants to phase out as they want to data mine there users so they can sell the data to their real customers.
Unfortunately the end result is the same. Eventually everyone will need to move to a different operating system. Windows 10 is an inferior choice (from an legal requirement and personal ownership perspective) but the only choice iff you choose to swallow M$ T&C.
No one is forced to use Microsoft software.
There are alternatives available.
Life is full of compromises between what you want and what you are prepared to pay for
