Inconsistency in batch update

It seems that if you manage data through batch update the numbers are exported in the format of your settings, ie in my case #,00, but when you import numbers are treats as #.00

What is the number formatting of the spreadsheet? And are you saying the resulting format in an updated transaction is different from your number preference? Can you illustrate this?

The whole sheet is set to text in order not to let Excel change any format.

Business number format is set to 1234,56

Batch update export the number as 1234,56

If you import exactly what was exported the number becomes 123456,00

If you change it to 1234.56 it is imported as 1.234,56

That sounds somewhat similar to the bug that reported and fixed: Asset book value errors when number format is 123.456.789,00

The comma is being dropped as a decimal separator.

This didn’t happen to me. I updated Manager yesterday and did not realise that my number format had changed to have a comma instead of decimal. I only noticed it when I tried to do a batch update and saw that Excel was trying to replace all my .00 with ,00 figures.

Were you on the latest version of Manager?

Yes it is. It is a server edition which updates daily after the backup. It happened with inventory kit.

Also under receipts and payments, batch update has the same issue. Export numbers with commas but wants numbers with dots for import.

I understand that Manger wants only dates in format YYYY/MM/DD and numbers with dots for decimal (#.00), but, at least make the export coerent with import. And please @lubos, don’t change it again without notice. I had to change all my addon files.
