Importing data file

I have downloaded manager on my new computer and get the same screen how do I import my files from the backups on my usb I get the same screen as above and can open from my usb but can’t save them onto the desktop software.

  1. Copy the files from your USB to the desktop location that you require.
  2. If the files names have the backup time/date stamp then you could rename them as you require
  3. Now click Open from the application screen as above and navigate to the desktop location OR double click the renamed file and open with Manager.

Hello, im hoping someone can help with this import issue i am having, Im using manager.io version 17.4.55 and i cannot find any way of importing bank statements in QIF or CSV like previous versions. I dont understand maybe i am overlooking something but there seems to be no way of doing so, only backing up existing accounts not importing statements, if anyone can clarify that would be greatly appreciated…

The importing bank statement button is still in the same location, after clicking on the balance for the cash account. The file type (QIF, CSV) is selected when creating the download file from the financial institution.

You haven’t clicked on the balance (blue figure - right hand side) to get to the Import Statement button.

Hi Im having trouble to importa date from one of my Manager Business to another. Meaning I have one business that manages all the accounts and one separate at my shop for the cash, when I export the data of the cash one I can after import it to the one that manages all the account, it just lets me as an independent business. I appreciate any advise

that is not how it is supposed to be. you cannot merge data of two business. you can only import as separate business. if you need to have multi user accounts which would enable you to run business from multiple locations, you should try the server or cloud version.
