I have been using Manager for quite some years now. I have always imported my bank statements as CSV. For several reasons 1) my clients understood what a CSV was 2) back then banks only really exported by CSV 3) a lot of people had trouble using QIF and manager.
It took me hours to reformat the CSV’s. I was talking to @lubos the other day and he encouraged me to try QIF. So I converted some CSV to QIF and imported it to manager with out even opening it(Don’t seem to be able to preview it) and it worked a treat no more spending hours and hours.
So for anybody else I strongly suggest exporting bank statements as QIF or even converting CSV to qif. There are a few free online sites that do that. I just had to say it as I am so impressed.
