I would like to import inventory items from Excel and would like to add column quantity. So as they can be seen on my inventory tab.
Also I would like to add tax category in the same import process.
Unfortunately opening qty amount and default tax code are not importable.
So you would need to first import inventory items without opening balances and then set opening balance for each inventory item one-by-one.
Default tax codes for inventory items are not yet supported but they will be eventually added.

How would it be able to give average cost in this screen. Just complete the procedure and then all will be well.
@hafiz4saqib, you have not purchased anything, nor did you enter any starting quantities, so you have no average cost—because you have no total cost.
