Please, please, please implement a simple import of exchange rates.
ie. A published well-understood format such as or similar to:
YYYY-MM-DD,CURRENCY,RATE-REL-TO-BASE
E.g. 2024-06-29,EUR,1.2013
I must use gov approved rate sources and can’t use XE or any other. I can easily prepare a CSV in any format for an entire year’s rate for import.
The way things are now, it’s a very laborious process to have to manually lookup a date’s rate, enter through the GUI and then enter the transaction.
Other than this, I think the software is amazing. Thank you.

You can Batch create these exchange rates from Settings > Currencies > Exchange Rates.
After you do that you will have this table showing:
You can click on the linked numbers under Transactions column which will enable you to Batch update all transactions with the relevant exchange rates you just created
So I still need to manually enter each exchange rate? i.e almost 350 separate manual entries. And then for each one to click on the “Batch update” too?

Do you mean 350 exchange rates or 350 transactions?
I meant 350 separate exchange rates and I said this reflexively, although in reality it’s probably more than that, considering I need to deal with 6 different currencies and probably 200 days on which there are transactions. It would be great to be able to just import all the different exchange rates from a CSV file. As things are, I need to manually enter each exchange rate for each currency for each date. Very tedious.
