I cant seem to get an inventory item to adjust itself upon receiving

I am a new user to manager and I really think it’s awsome!

I was doing some testing and wondering; can an inventory item quantity adjust itself upon entering the received quantity (receiving) or does it adjust itself only when entering suppliers invoice?

I have created control accounts for Inventory items and assigned every of them in the Item card.

If I do a stock receive (from the supplier’s PO) for example 7 out of 10, it still says 0 item in stock (Inventory item)

If a enter the supplier’s invoice, it updates the quantity respectively.

I was wondering if there was a way to update quantity in stock on receiving of the goods rather than supplier’s invoice?

Welcome to the forum.

That’s probably because you are looking at Qty owned. What you should be looking at instead is the Qty on hand column.

To show this column, go to your Inventory Items tab > Edit columns and check Qty on hand.
