How to add sales

i have started using manager recently, and am facing a problem on how to add sales in the cash account as receive money,

firstly Customize so that the particular views are shown
add a Cash account
then
go to the sales invoice section and add a sale invoice
view the particular invoice and click on recieve money

If you are selling inventory, select the Inventory under the “Item” field.
If you are selling non-inventory (services), select the Income under the “Account” field
