how do we upload journal entries directly from an excel upload

Manager doesn’t import journal entries from a file upload (Excel/CSV). Instead, you paste prepared rows into Journal Entries via Batch Create. Here’s the reliable way to do it.
What you can do
Create a few sample journal entries manually in Manager that look like what you want.
In Journal Entries, click Batch Update, copy the grid to your clipboard, and paste it into Excel. This shows you the exact column layout and syntax Manager expects.
