How can I use journal entry batch create?

Good morning , I’m new entrant at manager system it sounds great .II ned a help I’m trying to create journal entry batch with compound entries which either several lines at DR and CR at the same entry,I tried to make them at multiple rows but with the same JE reference number, the result is several independent journal entry per each row added at batch create

Also I’m confused shall I use account names or accounts codes at batch create exported excel to be configured cause data are transferred to suspense account which means that I feed data incorrectly at batch create

Many thanks for your patience and help

As a new user it’s recommended to start by reading the Guides and use the forum’s search option.

Also, why are you using journal entries?

Manager is designed so that journal entries are hardly ever required

It is not wrong to use journal entries, but you may not be optimising your use of Manager

@Mark Thanks Mark for reply , I actually read most of these valuable guides I’ve already a customized chart of accounts and I’m currently at phase of importing outside journal entries i.e, closing AR with multiple NR , I found Batch create function which saves data import time but unfortunately I can’t utilize it after reading this section at manager guidelines
Appreciate if you can help please?

@Joe91 Hi Joe91…can you clarify more please??

Hola  @treeka …I recommend you start by having a test business in the process of reading the guides so as when you error in any way, it doesn’t affect your original accounting records…and you could always experiment with that test business untill it fully suits your needs
