Font in manager

I just installed the latest Manager on a brand new machine with windows 10. By brand new I mean literally brand new. Manager is the second application I Installed after Firefox.

The UI looks like this:

Notice how the text looks strange like smudged or something. Is this a font issue or something else? How do I fix this?

Maybe read these posts?

Probably a font issue, or checj font settings with windows. They have a “tint” or something that maybe will fix your issue. And read those post, because I also feel they are related.

Yes I read the posts and tried some of the proposals. It seems that the issue goes away when I disable this line from the css

font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

I do not have the Helvetica Neue font and I don’t know how to install it. Is it available somewhere online? Could this be the issue?

That shouldn’t be a problem since the font selection should fall back to the next in line. On windows you should at least have Arial.

I think this is the key to the solution

I remember a setting that’s burried way deep down the control panel that fixes font issue for new machines. I think it’s labeled “calibrate monitor” or something like that.

The solution for this was to reinstall windows 10.

Crazy, but it worked. :slight_smile:

how is this possible… I don’t even wana know… I just sympathize…
