Sent you a PM. thanks

Uhm, I just downloaded the file you uploaded, and the same issue is shown… now this is weird.
What could be the issue?

  • Create a test business,
  • Enable bank accounts, payments and receipts
  • Create a Bank account from the Accounts tab
  • In settings set the base currency to USD.

Try to import the bank statement in that business.

i did, same issue.

Also show us a screenshot of the import like below where the bank and file show.

The issue is the software my server version, 24.1.11.1277.
I just downloaded manager.io free and test it and i can confirm its working with it. I dont know whats wrong with my server version, as I just keep on updating. Hopefully @lubos or someone else can assist me.
thanks so much @eko

hi @eko I got it fixed by upgrading to the latest version, thankfully.
thank you so much for the help, i appreciate the support.
cheers

My main accounts are on Server Edition 24.1.11.1277 (Ubuntu 20.04). I can import the file there as well. So, it is possible that somehow you have an issue with how you installed it on your server, but the developer expects that you have sufficient IT knowledge to manage your own server see Manager.io specifically:

We do not provide installation service. Server edition works as a custom web-server. If you do not have an experience with web-servers, please seek local IT specialist or sign up for cloud edition.

The Forum FAQ at FAQ - Manager Forum state:

So if you encounter a problem with the desktop or server editions, update Manager , even if you recently did.

Hope that next time you do that before posting, irrespective if you update to the same version. This would have eliminated the anxiety you could have not getting things to work and reduce the need for online discussions.

i though It was on the latest version tbh.
thanks

With the aid of hindsight, doing the final solution first is almost always what everyone would like to have started with.

Imo @shootify took a reasonable approach.
