Feature Request: Lock numbering

Hi!

I need some kind of permission to be able lock the invoice number from being changed, it’s too easy to edit it and make a duplicate or delete one invoice and create it again with any number…

It’s all boils down to your standard operation procedure. Like who is responsible for the key in. Then another is daily backup of different version.

I think the feature may be long before it can be listed down under ideas.

Any user with editing access to invoices will be able to change the number. In server and cloud editions, you can control who can do this. But I doubt there will ever be field by field permission setting.
