I seem to have missing invoices. I had been tracking sales and sometime in the past week, we lost some invoices and sales. I found the emails when we sent the invoice but there is no attachment anymore. First time I noticed this but now I have product sold and no idea what was on the missing invoices and delivery notes. Any ideas?
Also Lost all my printer settings and nothing connects. Worked flawlessly until recently, was there a recent update?
You need to furnish more information.
What do you mean by this statement? There is no “sales tracking” feature in Manager. There are lists of transactions, financial statements, etc.
How do you know this?
You need to illustrate your situation with screen shots demonstrating that you sent emails with attached sales invoices and that those sales invoices no longer exist within your accounting records. You should also review your History file, searching for indications that missing sales invoices were deleted. If they were, there will be a record of that fact.
And by the way, it is impossible to send a sales invoice via email that has not been created. When the Create button is clicked, the transaction is saved in your data file. No further action is possible or necessary. So your subject line is somewhat misleading.
My tracking sales is my own excel spreadsheet deal. The only important fact is invoices are getting removed from my system somehow and I am the only employee and find it odd to be happening. It has to be a glitch! A costly one at that. How can I send a screen shot when it’s now missing but my customer has received the invoice but it is not in my system. I cannot do receipt for the payment or track past dues if they go missing. Never had an issue prior so not sure what changed. Now I also find updating inventory extremely difficult. Actually no way to correct inventory qty’s.
What does the history show?
No, it does not. If there were such a bug, hundreds or thousands of users would would have complained instantly. Since you first posted 16 days ago, no one has mentioned such a problem. That leads to the conclusion that you did something you have not explained (or may not even be aware you did).
Manager has no printer settings. If you have problems with a problem, that points directly to operating system or hardware problems on your end.
And exactly what did you mean by “nothing connects?”
