The attachments are missing when viewing emails in history.

I cannot reproduce this (Cloud Edition 21.7.53) with new emails so I’m assuming you may be facing this issue with emails that were transferred from the Emails Tab to History. Do you have the same issue with new emails too? I do not have old emails to check with.

I hadn’t sent an email since updating on Saturday, but just tried it then and the attachment is there, but all the previous ones are gone!
@VACUUMDOG, are the attachments still present when viewing the actual transactions? I am fairly certain they are. (They should be.) This points out one of the advantages of moving email review to History. You may recall that when emails were listed in the old Emails tab, you could not view their content or attachments there. (That capability was lost quite some time ago.)
The actual transactions are the attachments i.e. the Sales Quote etc. in PDF format, or, as in the example from the guides, the credit note.

Yes, I know, @VACUUMDOG. But my question was whether the attachments are present when you view the transactions themselves, not the History file. In the case of your 16/07/2021 email, what is present when you view the actual sales quote that you were emailing?
They are the same quote. The quote itself is supposed to be the attachment.
The transaction, as you refer to it, is the Quote.
I have emailed the quote but the PDF does not appear on the view email in history from any emailed items from before the update from 21.7.38 to 21.7.53
This is possibly the answer to my query as it has been quite some time since I’ve actually gone to the now defunct emails tab to check on an invoice or quote.
I do know that I have used it in the past though.
So the bottom line is that your attachment (in this case the sales quote itself) is still available in your business data file, just not listed in History as an attachment if the email date was before the functionality was improved.
