I have been using Manager software for some time and quite happy with it. I would like to ask couple of questions and any assistance is appreciated:
Since i am using the Free Version if i buy a cloud edition can i access the info i already have on the free version.
In case i need multiple users for my company but i dont have server installed in position. How can i make use of the software? Which version shall i buy?
subscribe. Although I have workaround of using the server edition. I rather not have you the headache of setting up of accessing server via exposing ports using reverse tunneling app available in the internet.
Not sure what workaround it is but since desktop edition is basically a local web-server, it would be possible to access it remotely. For security reasons, desktop edition will prevent any remote connections but that can be circumvented by putting some kind of proxy server in place. But then you open your accounting data to the whole world without password (unless you restrict access by specific IP addresses). I just don’t see how this workaround is viable.
You might as well run server edition which comes with unlimited free trial. No workaround needed.
lubos, this is misunderstanding, what I meant is something like ngrok, is a temporal access if they need it if they are not in local network, and does not have server hardware or outsource hosting server until they find the suitable services. In addition, I am using trial version of server edition for the said purpose. That is the beauty web based accounting software .
Sorry for My Late Reply & Thank you all for your answers.
Sorry to say i am not very technical so to make it simple if i buy the cloud version is it possible to download it on my 2 or 3 computers in my office even if their is no server? how can we make a work around on the availability of the server?
Is it possible to have limited restriction for other users also on the cloud version?
