i updated my desktop manager software to version 25.2.19.2104 on windows 11 home 64 bit. after successful update, it opens, shows previous data, but doesn’t create any new entry. upon creating new entries it shows error stating that “127.0.0.1:55667 says unable to open database file”.
Please show screenshots.
- Of the home screen that shows all the businesses you know that you have.
- The errorneous screenshot of whatever of these businesses you tried to open.

I have unistalled and installed it twice. Now it gives the below error.

@shahid_Ahmed this is very strange.
I found someone having this issue 6 years ago. See:
They have disabled ransomware protection to make this work. Try to disable ransomware protection temporarily to see if it fixes the issue. This will reveal whether it’s the same problem.
Thanks a Lot … it resolved the issue … yes, the ransomware protection was active. disabled it and the problem is solved. i did below steps:
- Open Windows Security (
Windows + S> type “Windows Security”). - Go to Virus & Threat Protection > Manage Ransomware Protection.
- Turn off Controlled Folder Access.
now Manager is working fine. created new business and new entries inside the business as well.
