On my bank account debtors are paying. So I select debtor and I can select an invoice, which I entered earlier. The programm does not fill in the amount or shows the open amounts… What is the purpose of selecting the invoice number?
My current program does show all open debtor amounts and I select the correct invoice number. I also can change the amount if an other amount was paid.
When you are categorizing bank transactions and customer has specified they have paid for invoice #100. Then select the invoice #100 and move on.
If customer didn’t specify what invoice they paid for, use Customer credits account, then select customer and let Manager to apply the amount paid to their invoice automatically.
