I know it’s my fault should have backed it all up and all that, so the hard drive decides to stop working and you know it all that was there is now gone. How do I or should I ask if I can by some miracle get back last few years that I have lost. I know that I can reinstall the program but there must be a way to also bring back my business details back

I assume you were using the desktop edition. Is that correct?
If so, sadly, unless you proactively changed your application data folder location to another location, such as DropBox, OneDrive, iCloud, etc., or backed up your entire drive somewhere, your only hope is to see if a data recovery specialist can salvage anything. The chances are quite slim.
No matter what technology you use, storage drive failure is never a matter of “if,” but always a matter of “when.”

Were you backing up your entire drive to OneDrive? If so, you have hope.
