How i can get a report for item card statement
Like general ledger statement
I want ledger statement for a particular inventory item
I did the setup and i didn’t got it
I wonder how there is no report for item movement

It’s a main thing
Please anyone know how i can do it please tell me
What is an item card?
I mean inventory item movement report
Oh that report doesn’t have drill down ability yet.
Unfortunately i have recommended the manager system to a small factory but they asking me for that report… i didn’t see anything like this

The Inventory Quantity Summary does not have drill down capability for opening and closing balances for a very good reasons. They are the result of all previous transactions as of the beginning and end dates of the defined report period. Such a report could have hundreds of pages.
The report does have drill-down capability on transactions within the report period. You can copy those transactions lists to a spreadsheet.

I was looking at Inventory Value Summary which doesn’t have drill down for transactions. I guess that’s what @Ahmed_Saif wants but he needs to be clear on what report he meant when he said this:

This system has a very good things that no other software has …
But there are many main and basics things that this software ignored it … specially in inventory management …

I need auto serial for a new items every system do
So when i creat a new a new item i must go to see what is the max serial was … then copy this and add 1
Sometimes i forget sometimes people who are working on stock not fit for this transaction.
I need items groups clearly not custom fields its a basic thing in any software i need reports all programs do . Its a basic

And the most unbelievable thing …i can withdraw from my inventory items even if balance is zero without warning without any thing …
So every afew Hours i must check status of the stock manual …
I love manager i use it for years
But it very bad in inventory management

@Ahmed_Saif the reality is that wicked environments can not be tailored. What works for some does not work for others. In your case you seem to need more comprehensive inventory management features, some others require more advance payroll management features such as scheduling timesheets, while yet others just want a robust and easy to manage accounting application for pure fiscal purposes and some need far more financial management and reporting features. Truth is no single application can do it all. Some applications use modular approaches such as Odoo that tailor for many different businesses with different costs attached to them, some are full ERPs such as TinyERP. I would advise you to look for an inventory management app that suits your needs (some listed here) and use Manager for your fiscal accounting needs.
