Custom fields - screen position

I have added 12 custom fields so far to “customers” (aka Members) to record such things as join date, resignation, Ph Number, Date of Birth etc etc adn would intend to add more…eg 15?

This leave 3/4 of the screen blank as you have to scroll down to see other fields.

Is there a way to reposition them so that they can by side by side across the screen and when that line is full it then creates another line etc etc.

It would be nice to see most of them on the screen all at once so that they are at least readable as when zoomimg out the fields are too small and are unreadable.

If you have that many custom fields, it would seem to indicate that you are trying to use Manager for a purpose it is not intended for.

It might be better to look for software more in line with your requirements than trying to twist Manager into meeting them

What exactly are you trying to manage?

@rquinn can you show screenshot for reference what screen are you actually looking at? It’s not clear whether you are trying to reorganize fields on the editable form or some other view.

at present the custom fields are below each other leaving a huge amount of blank space on the screen as follows:

It would be nice to be able to view these across the screen so that all fields are viewable at once, rather than being in a single column down

similar to this as an example where fields are side by side

No Joe91…I am not using Manager for a purpose it is not intended for!
It is an accounting program and having used Quick Books for a business and a sporting club I find Manager to be absolutely great.
All off-the-shelf programs need to be tweaked to suit ones self. Manager allows which looks like unlimited multiple Custom Fields to be included in say “Customers”, which is great compared to QB which only allows 6 extra.

However these custom fields would look better on screen if they could be positioned side by side across the viewing screen and then a new line of fields after say three or four across.

it will be useful if @lubos can provide option to manage it.
i was also looking for it.
