Custom Fields not appearing on Sales Invoice by Custom Field report

I create the following custom field to report a quantity of Tattoo’s completed over a billable time of service.

I want to create a report that summarizes each invoice along with total time from billable time and number of tattoos (custom field)

I tried to make a custom report, but the custom field is not populating as shown below with the “No matches found”

Am I using custom fields wrong? Custom report? or is it a separate issue causing this?

Just tried this but it did not fix the problem.



As you can see, “No matches found” is still appearing instead of the custom field, even with “show custom field on printed documents” being checked.

I did search the guides and forum but the answer was not clear. “Check Show custom field on printed documents to display the field on forms” does not explicitly explain that it needs to be checked in order to appear as an option on report.

Reports doesn’t support custom fields. Try Advance Search.

This works for my custom field, but I know loose the ability to see “quantity” which in my case is “time spent” since it comes from billable time.

@ZzBlueBird42 to get quantity column, use Sales Invoices - Lines screen to create your custom report. To access Sales Invoices - Lines, go to Sales Invoices, then click Sales Invoices - Lines button in bottom-right corner.
