Credit card setup

Hi,
I was following credit card setup guide Set up credit cards | Manager

  1. created new credit card account under Bank and Cash accounts
  2. created a custom control account “Credit Cards” under Liabilities
    Then, when I went to link this control account to my credit card account in edit mode, I could not find a provision to give control account.
    Please help

Show the edit screens for your new credit card account (1) and your control account (2).

You should create the custom control account under Settings → Controil Accounts _> Bank and Cash accounts and NOT under Chart of Accounts see screenshot below. So delete the one you created under Chart of Accounts and create the control account.
