Creating invoice from billable hours

I am having trouble converting my billable hours and expenses into an invoice, is there an easy way to do this? What is the process to get this inputted information to an invoice

You cannot add billable time to an existing sales invoice. Generate a sales invoice from the Customers tab first. Then add any other necessary line items.
