Can't use SMTP in Host Address

Hi,
I use the cloud version. Love the program. I have my own web site which uses WebMail as its webserver. I wish to send invoices from my site rather than use Gmail. The problem is if I use SMTP.mywebsite.com I automatically get a FAIL message. If I use mywebsite.com the program hangs until it times out. The latter is how the website provider said how the server address should be.

You will need to provide more information if you want any direct support. Such as:

  • What email protocols does your web sites email server support.

  • What restrictions / security restrictions does your email provider enforce.

  • What is the actual email provider or email hosting software you are using

  • What other applications can you successfully use to send emails

  • What port have you chosen in Manager
