Can I use Power Query\BI with the clould version?

I have been using Manager for more than a year now. I use Power Query quite extensively to grab data directly from the Report and Tabs URLs.
Currently, I use the desktop version but I plan to upgrade to the cloud version and I’m afraid I will lose the ability to use Power Query. ( I tried the trial for the cloud version and could not connect from excel )
I checked the forums and could not find what I’m looking for.
Is there any way to use Power Query\BI directly with Manager or is there any plan to support it in the future?

I have some problems with that approach:

  1. It exposes the administrator’s username and password.
  2. I cannot get useful data like current debt, inventory qty, or the average cost.
  3. I have to loop through items one by one to get a list of items with information.
  4. As of now there is no way to extract data from reports or custom reports.
