Bug when printing payslips or batches

When I batch print payslips (or any other batched documents), the print preview/PDF renders them as one continuous document instead of placing each payslip on its own page. You can see this in the attached screenshot — if a payslip doesn’t fit within a single page, it gets cut off and spills onto the next, which makes the output hard to read.

I use this feature to share a summary of all payslips with my colleagues before paying salaries, so the current layout isn’t presentable. This has been happening for a few months — I’d been hoping it would get fixed, but figured I should report it now.

I am in the cloud edition of Manager.

To recreate this, go to Payslips > Batch Operations > Batch View > Select 3 or more payslips > Print. Check the print preview.

True, the question on my mind is that has this alwas been the case?

Batch printing is broken, and it cannot be fixed because Manager renders each payslip (or any other document) in its own iframe element now for isolation. Web browsers can’t print iframes properly.

My solution will be to replace the Print button with a PDF button. You can then print the PDF document.

It used to work a while back though. Are you implying I should see a PDF button next to Print? Because I don’t. Or are you saying you’re working on adding a PDF button. Do you have any temporary solution meanwhile? Thanks.
