Back Up Restore

I am trying to restore my 3 year old back up file in updated Mac Laptop version software. I Cliked on add entity and selected to import business. it is been loading for past 3 hours and still at 0%.
Not able to understand what to do. Can any one help

First I need to note that your version is 26.1.21.3171.

That aside, this could be due to many reasons.

Off the top my head, there’s this bug where the platform on which Manager is built triggers this response from MAC OS

It’s possible you have denied this permission and now Manager is unable to write anything on your disk.

Another possible cause could be that the backup file somehow got corrupted.

To test this last scenario, you can try importing the backup on a different machine, preferably, running a different OS like Windows.

To provide more context: I recently switched to a new MacBook a few months ago and installed Manager fresh, which is when I began encountering this issue.

Regarding your suggestions: I have already tested importing the backup on a different MacBook and a Windows laptop as well. Unfortunately, I am getting the same continuous loading error on all devices and operating systems.

Given that it happens across different platforms, it seems more likely to be an issue with the backup file itself rather than a macOS permission bug. What would be the next steps to diagnose or repair a potentially corrupted backup file?
