Dear sir
Average cost of unit price is not correct as in below screen could you please fix this bugs to purchase lines and sales lines too. Current version show sum of unit price instead of average cost of unit price.
Thanks
These are the column totals and this correct.
you need to update the program.
only
Total amount divided by total quantity equals average cost of unit price. This is the correct not sum of unit price column.
already removed you need to update the program.

@lubos Total of unit price doesnt make sense. If there is a possibility to add a “Total” checkbox next to each column (Where applicable like Number fields) in the “Edit Column” page. So only Total for these columns is shown.
This would also enable to track qty on some tabs like on Fixed assets when qty is entered during receipt/payments/JE of assets then the total would show the balance qty of the remaining asset as right now there is no total for qty on these pages except inventory.
Nowhere is the figure you refer to described or labeled as average cost. It is, as @eko wrote, a total for the displayed sales invoice lines. You may not find it useful, but others might, especially when viewing the results of a Search action.
If you want information on average cost of inventory items, that is found in the Inventory Items tab.
Thsnks for help. I need to know purchase average unit price to specific item for specific period.
Go to the Inventory Items tab. Drill down on the Total Cost of the item in question. You will see the history of that item’s cost with the average cost after each transaction. Average cost is not determined over a period, but at a specific point in time.
Although the phrase average cost is used in the program, technically the parameter is the perpetual moving average unit cost. It fluctuates with every purchase of the item or other transactions posting to the item (for example, a separately invoiced freight-in charge).
