Hello @lubos,
In the previous section, it was possible to track the change in cost by including it in the final amount. Currently, it is not possible to track the change in cost and on what date the product was purchased at what price
The issue is that once you start using freight costs, production orders etc. the cost of product is not its purchase price. Things get even more complicated when negative inventory occurs.
The way we could improve this is that you can click on Qty owned
figure and it could tell you unit price (if applicable) for each purchase or sale transaction. Would that help?
that changes our profit, now question is that what was right previous tracking system or now recalculate? and do we have to calculate it again and again?
No, unfortunately it doesn’t help.
It was possible to track how the cost of these expenses was formed, and compare them with previous prices. You could go directly in and change incorrect information from there.
There are several customers who do not work with inventory prices. Purchased products are directly included in the cost, now this has changed and are collected in the warehouse as inventory.
Another issue was to view the report of how much was sold to whom from the total amount, there was no need to create an additional report for this. Now there is only the cost of the product, quantity and amount.
Would it be possible to return it to the previous form?
Help please. Suddenly all my inventory items are showing ? in unit cost column. How to solve this issue?
they have updated it which effects our profit there was auto previously and now it is different lets see what is it.
the recalculate button has changed many of my products’ unit cost (which was correct before this recalculate button) and now my profit and lost statement is showing weird amounts. No idea what change it had made. Kindly tell me how to get the unit costs back to previous values.
@lubos it would be better if you also implement the Weighted Average Method for Recalculation screen as currently it works on FIFO only. So the previous figures would be exact match of Automatic unit cost revaluation method even if the new periodic unit cost revaluation method is used.
My first purchased was 107 quantity per item cost was 14280 and second purchased was 120 quantity per item cost was 13720 now recalculated cost is showing 10760.78 how? the actual is 13,984.53. kindly your new update is changing many enteries.
What do you get when you click on the Rs. 10,760.78 ?
How many warehouses do you work with?
two
@Rashad all reports or specific one from inventory items reports and what about dates?
but all was good, new change of recalculating cost has changed it .
Inventory quantity for today by location
Hello is there a way to revert to the previous version. We are having problems now in checking sales vs cost of sales. With the added entries in Cost of sales with the recalculate feature. thanks
