hi, i am an old user who now converted to cloud from desktop, I am referring to the unit price for a particular customer that was invoiced the last time. It doesn’t change ie at any point in time, system retrieves the data from the last invoice for a particular customer.
It’s helpful in the sense that if I am selling item #123, say at a price of $60 to customer A and at a price of $50 to customer B and for whatever reason I end up mixing or confusing the prices between the two customers, it can be prevented by Manager showing this in the unit price field - greyed out. Hope this explains the business case for this idea.
my dear, let me put it this way.
for example, i have 100 customers who buys an apple from me, my business is like i dont want to have a fix price, maybe if it could be like this that the sale invoice shows the regular price set in the inventory and also show the last price which i gave to customer while making a new invoice.
In simple words, if it’s possible that if i am making an invoice for a product, it could show the last price i sold in bracket or something like that.
i really need this option, it would save me a lot of time. thankyou
Like @tony suggested when u invoice you customer go to his last invoice and then copy to New Invoice. Make necessary changes which are required. This way you can get the last price or other terms and conditions auto filled for new invoice.
What you want is not possible rn.
i have to make multiple invoices at the same time, so it wastes a lot of time, I need this feature, when i am making multiple invoices for many items for different customers, I go and check their old prices for each product, it wastes too much time, I request the developers to add this feature of showing last prices in the current invoices.
Its just a matter of entering Customer name in Seach field of Sales Invoice Tab (which you also have to do if you create new invoice from scratch). Also this way it can even save time instead of wasting it i think.
However Pricing level are in ideas which might help if implemented.
