Add receipt creation on sales order in view

Is it possible to add receipt creation on sales order in view same as sales invoice?

It will help to record and manage the prepay for sales order.

If it works,it is worth to add it for purchase order as well

Unfortunately, that’s not possible. But I’m not entirely against the idea. Adding a receipt against an Order or a Quote isn’t that uncommon, and it will also ensure that this receipt will eventually be against the Invoice.

However, Idk whether the developer is willing to introduce this additional level of complexity to the software.

The function is workable by creating receipt for the prepayment. I think when it is link with order will be much more convenient.

I agree completely with you and also add payment against purchase order

This is useful in case of advance payment to suppliers and advance receipts from customers
