Add amount range when creating bank rule

I just came across the need to have the ability to choose between an Amount range when creating a bank rule. I think it will be helpful for others.
In my case, i buy noninventory items very often in a price that falls in between a certain price range, so having this available when creating bank rule is going to help. thanks

You need to explain why falling within a range helps determine where a transaction should be posted. How would that help recognize transactions? In the situation you describe, accounting practices and tax regulations frequently impose limits, but not ranges. For example, classifying a purchase as a current expense rather than a capital investment may have an upper limit, but not a lower.

hi @Tut,
in my case, when i buy a lot from ebay and i do a lot of repetitive buys from the same vendor/supplier, the price from this supplier of the specific item i buy differs within $3 max. ($22-$25), sometimes cents.
thanks

Hi, I would also like this feature to be implemented please - basically a “between” two values option.
OR an “approximate” value - to allow for a annual price that is billed monthly that varies by a few cents depending on the month length etc.
my simple scenario is on payments - i have a number of properties and i get a number of invoices from the same supplier with no unique identifiers - and based on the property size, the values are variable, but known to be between some values.
At the moment i am having to create multiple bank rules “for exact” numbers that vary by a couple of cents depending on the month or period, rounding etc or process them manually. I often end up with 3 or 4 rules per supplier to cover these.
Eg. quarterly values for water, shire rates, monthly values for internet, property insurance, vehicles, rent etc. I guess this would also apply to receipts of rent too - but they generally have other unique identifiers i can use to determine coding.

thank you for your consideration!
