Ability to compute PAYE

It will be nice if the software would have ability to compute Pay As You Earn tax when preparing salary slips

How far has this been reached?

There is no way of knowing a schedule or whether the feature will even be added. Such things are not announced. You’ll just have to wait on release announcements.
