using 25.8.16.2610 Is it just me or has history changed since the previous version or two
doesn’t seem to make sense anymore
current version is 25.8.27.2720 cloud,
what are you looking for which is not normal or changed in history.
Please state what you expected to happen and what Manager is doing wrong/New. Include screenshots if possible. What you’ve posted so far hasn’t clearly communicated any problem.
history was basically the Audit Trail.
now you can’t do a sort by time stamp, user etc etc.
One also now needs to sort by each user and account!
It was better by just using time stamp.
now before any one carries on about being able to delete a history transaction it only changed it back to what it originally anyways.
cant do screen shots of old way as it is now not available. can only show a screen shot of how it now shows up which if you version is up to date its the same. I think Lubos will understand. Oh and this has happened prior to version 2610 (not sure exactly when) and it is also doing it on 2703 which was latest version a few days ago.

You must have been thousands of versions behind.
Allow me to summarize what happened since your previous version:

History is now forever. Previous Audit Trail held last 1000 entries only.

History is now kept for each business separately. You can view each business’ history from within it. This is better focuses admins’ attention trying to see changes in a specific business file.

History can now be filtered. You can filter by Action, User, and Record type.

History can be viewed for each transaction. There’s now a small History button on the bottom right of transaction View screens.
And I saved the best for last:
- History can now be undone. Suppose you have made a wrong batch operation or imported a wrong bank statement, no worries, you can simply go to History to view one of the faulty records – this will show you the entire batch – and click Undo. Problem solved.

you were able to undo previously….i used it often to undo mistakes..lol. Still be good to be able to sort by time stamp. or user etc
So, I guess your words must have betrayed you when you said Audit Trail because the Undo button was only introduced after renaming that to History.
Or maybe I just took things too literally.
Either way, that makes my previous reply irrelevant.
Anyway, “sorting” was never a feature of History. Filtering, on the other hand, is a feature of History.
