Warning when creating duplicate code/description for all aspecs (customers, items etc.)

Is there maybe something in the pipeline to give a pop up before creating a customer for example to indicate if I have already created the customer or customer code before? Would be a nice feature if we could add a pop-up notice or so.

You already get a warning if two items/accounts have same code.
For Name i think two customer can have similar name same goes for suppliers items etc. But code should be unique to each item/account.
So its already implemented.

I think duplicate notice should be rolled out to edit form too. For example, when you enter Code that has been already used elsewhere, then some visual hint can appear during edit.
