Virus?

Hello, I tried to download the latest version of manager.io (desktopversion for Windows) today, but everytime the download is almost complete my virusscanner gives a warning: WIN32:EVO-GEN [SUSP] and doesn’t let me complete the download.

I have tried alltogher 3 times, but everytime I’ll get the same warning. My virusscanner is AVAST Free Antivirus, which is up-to-date with the latest virusdefinitions.

Can you confirm that it is safe to disable my virusscanner before the download ?

This is a known false positive with AVAST. It has been suggested many times that users report this to the developers of AVAST. I don’t know if anyone has. Disable the anti-virus software temporarily and you will be fine.

BE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD DIRECTLY FROM http://www.manager.io, NOT SOME THIRD-PARTY DISTRIBUTION SITE.
