User permission with payment/receipts clearing

I recently purchased the cloud version and assigned user permission to ‘create & view’ for a list of modules that will be handled by my staff.

There is a bottleneck in the receipts & payments section - once my staff enters the check payment as ‘pending’, she is not able to clear the payment/ receipt the next instance as the user permission does not allow her to do so.

Is there a workaround for this?

Changing the status of the payment requires the user to have permission to edit transactions. But I agree having the option to enable a limited user (without the permission to edit transaction) to clear a bank transaction would help because clearing a bank transaction cannot change the already captured transaction details and also has no effect on the balance sheet of the organisation.

Such a feature I imagine would require the programmer to do a lot of coding to change the permission settings structure of Manager. But I will add this to ideas.
