trying to update from old version , latest will not read my back up , cannot find version 20.9.89 on github . anyone have this copy

I don’t think that would be necessary anymore.
However, just to be safe, take a backup of your Manager data and download the latest version installer as well as the installer for your old version just in case things go south

Manager data is stored in SQLite database. However it appears the file you are attempting to open is not a SQLite database.

Even though the developer has made changes to ensure backward compatibily of updates, the jump from 16.11.80 to the current version in 2025 seems to be too big.
This is the earliest version available:
I would start from there and then work up to a newer version if it doesn’t work.
It’s important to keep the original backup untouched during updates. Take copies of your backup to restore them in any newer version
If all fails, you can send the business file/backup to @lubos on lubos@manager.io
Manager will upgrade from any past version of Manager now. So that cannot be an issue.
